Job Description
The Webmaster is responsible for managing the overall operation of our client’s website, ensuring it runs smoothly, efficiently, and effectively. This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the website is up-to-date, user-friendly, secure, and meets the needs of our clients and their customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the overall operations of the website, ensuring that it is running smoothly, efficiently, and effectively.
- Ensure that the website is up-to-date, user-friendly, and meets the needs of our stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise with the website.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that the website is integrated with other business systems.
- Implement and maintain website security measures.
- Monitor website traffic and performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest web technologies and trends.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a webmaster role.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Additional Requirements
- Experience with agile methodology or certification in scrum product owner, project management.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), SEO best practices, and analytics tools.
- Working-level knowledge in JIRA.
- Previous experience collaborating with broad groups of internal and external stakeholders in large organizations.
- Certifications in relevant web technologies (e.g., Google or Adobe Analytics, accessibility standards).
